Mission/Event: Memorial Service Developing
Location: USS Lexington

Name: Ken Adams, US Air Force

About the Mission: Mr Adams was a 20 years Air Force Veteran serving as a Military Police officer.
The service will be held on September, 4th at 1900hrs (7:00pm). It will be on the USS LEXINGTON.
At 6:00 pm., we will starting the Flag Line. The Flag Line will start at the entrance of the LEX, working the Flaf Line down the ramp.
Ride Captain(S): Ed Geis - Escort and Ron Dunnahoo - Flag Line
Staging: Escort bikes will be staging at Sea Side Funeral Home NLT 6:15 pm. KSU at 6:30pm.
Riders not on the escort detail, we will have a brief at 5:45 pm. Parking will be tight. We will begin parking the bikes under the airplane, leaving room for the LEX carts to turn around. Any Overflow of bikes, will have to park on the street.
Escort Detail: Ed Geis, Robert Henderson, Ron Dominguez, Dale Bauer, and Bernie Norwood
Support vehicle: Butch "Turtle".

Mission/Event: Labor Day Tribute
Location: Cementerio San Antonio De Padera, Aransas Pass, TX

About the Mission: Charlie Marshall, in 60 years of funeral directing, has never seen anything as impressive as the Patriot Guard Riders standing a flag line to honor our Veterans. Mr. Marshall served in the Navy on a hospital ship in the Pacific during WW II. On Labor Day, Sept. 6th, a memorial service to honor Veterans will be held at the Cementerio San Antonio De Padera in Aransas Pass, a cemetery more than 100 years old.
The 235th Coastal bend Marine Corps will present the honors.
Staging: Charlie Marshall Funeral Home 2003 W. Wheeler (bus. 35), Aransas Pass, Texas.
All PGR members need to assemble at the funeral Home. Mr. Marshall would like the PGR to assemble at his funeral home by 10:15 AM on Labor Day. From the funeral home we will proceed with a police escort at 35 mph, to the cemetery. Bring all Bike flags. The service will last about 45 minutes. PGR member riding in cages can follow the motorcade, there is plenty of parking at the memorial site.
Food and entertainment will be available after the service.

About the Mission: Tuesday September 7th, Sgt M.Gryseels will be deploying to Iraq for a 12 month deployment. This is Sgt Gryseels 3rd deployment.
Staging: Please arrive at the airport by 05:15 am.

Mission/Event: Warrior Weekend Escort
Location: Corpus Christi International Airport to Kingsville TX

About the Mission: Thursday Sept 9th, we will help with an escort of 28 wounded warriors from the airport to Kingsville where they will have a fishing weekend.
The airport has asked that we arrive as a group so they can park us so we will not interfere with normal airport operations
Staging: we will gather up all the bikes on Industrial Road which is approx 100yds after you turn into the airport from Hwy 44. We will KSU at 3:00pm and ride as a group to the terminal where the airport police will park us.
For safety reasons, we will NOT fly any large flags on the bikes. After all the wounded warriors are loaded on the bus, we will escort the bus to Kingsville.
Please try to arrive between 2:30 and be ready to ride at 3:00 pm. The flight is due to arrive at 3:45pm

Mission/Event: Patriots Weekend September 17, 18, and 19 2010
Location: Lake Corpus Christi KOA, Mathis, TX

Entry fee is $20 per person for the weekend. Children under 12 are free.
Double Shot is playing Friday evening and Divided Highway is playing Saturday evening. There will be bike games, a bike show, benefit run and and vendors.
Cabins and RV sites are available by calling KOA directly at 361-547-5201.
